We are so excited to be hosting our 5th annual JUNETEENTH COMMUNITY CELEBRATION! God has given us this vision for our community, and it has been a blessing in many ways. We are deeply grateful for the continued support from the Quincy area.
Our theme for this year’s celebration is “CELEBRATING FREEDOM”. We have an incredible three-day lineup planned for the whole family:
Friday, June 12 — Gala Event
Our 2026 Juneteenth Community Gala at the Oakley-Lindsay Center kicks off the weekend with elegance and rhythm.
- 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Meet & Greet
- 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Dinner & Program
- 7:00 PM – Late: Live music featuring STL iHeart Radio DJ DJ Stew
- Tickets: Available at oakleylindsaycenter.com
Saturday, June 13 — Juneteenth Festival
Join us downtown in Washington Park (N. 5th St.) from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM for a day filled with community spirit. This year’s Juneteenth Festival includes:
- Entertainment: PC Band, Rhoda G. on Saxophone, Redd Boyz, The Beats Arts Academny, and Black Girls Jump!
- Activities: Food and local business vendors, Bingo, cake walk, dancing, and historical re-enactments.
- Kids Zone: Featuring the Quincy Children’s Museum’s bubble machine, a Llama-Llama Kids Dance Party, kiddie train rides, bounce houses, face painting, snow cones, and more!
Sunday, June 14 — Musical Concert
At 2:00 PM at Salem United Methodist Church of Christ (435 S. 9th St.), we invite you to a special musical performance featuring Quincy native Gabrielle Green.
Gabrielle Creen is a musicial, educator, and arts advocate passionate about cultural expression and music’s transformative power. Don’t miss this Musical Concert!
