Quincy, Illinois will be hosting a Juneteenth celebration featuring a 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. The tournament will have two divisions for young athletes aged 12-14 and 15-17. Scheduled for June 14, 2025, the games will take place at 5th and Maine, with a $10 entry fee per team.
The tournament will follow a 3 on 3 co-ed format, and prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. Games are set to be played between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM, following official rules with 10-minute games and sudden death overtime. Free throws on shooting fouls will be 1 for 2 and 2’s scoring will apply, with a maximum of 4 players per roster.
